Mr. Akkum graduated from Ankara Çankaya Elementary School, Izmir St. Joseph French Boys Middle School, and Istanbul St. Joseph French Boys High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Boğaziçi University and his Master’s degree in Construction Management from Istanbul Technical University.
Mr. Akkum completed certificate programs in Construction Management and Financial Management from the Business-Economics Institute of Istanbul University. Ilhami Akkum, who speaks English and French, has worked in various contractor and financial consulting organizations in Turkey and internationally. He has worked as a manager and a deputy general manager at Yapı Kredi Koray and Finance Real Estate Investment Partnerships.
Ilhami Akkum who is an accredited member and former president of the Istanbul Project Management Association, is also a member of PMI® (Project Management Institute) and the Real Estate Investment Partnership.
