Andrew OSBORN, FRICS, BSc.(Hons)
Andrew Osborn is a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years experience gained in property development and construction projects throughout Europe, the Middle East and CIS regions.
Born and educated in the UK, Andrew studied QuantitySurveying at Leeds Polytechnic and started his career working with private consultants in the UK when he became an Associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 1989. In 1991, Andrew relocated to Turkey to work on the prestigious restoration of an Ottoman Palace in Istanbul, now known as the Ciragan Palace Hotel, and subsequently settled in Turkey working on many other projects including Hyatt Regency Hotel, Ritz Carlton Hotel, Cargill Fructose Plant, Motorola HQ, and Garanti Bank HQ. He has worked with leading project management and construction management companies and a period of five years in the Middle East working on large mixed-use, residential, commercial, industrial and touristic projects.
He is specialised in construction economics, costs and tender analyses and tender and procurement systems as well as internationally recognised forms of contracts.
Andrew became a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2009 and is active member and assessor of its branch in Turkey. He resides with his wife and two children in Turkey.
